Over a week.

First off I just wanted to see what it looked like to add a picture. So I thought i would just add one of Dawn since most of you don't look at my pictures and have no idea who she is.

It has been over a week since I last wrote anything. What can I say I've been lazy. College will be finishing up on the 21st of December and then I pretty much don't have to teach anymore until February. That is a long time to do nothing.

I have a few things I plan on doing, but they will not take up the whole break so I am going to have a lot of down time I guess. My hard drive with all of my movies got erased so I have nothing to watch anymore either. It is going to be pretty boring.

I went to the post office today to send Dawn a package for X-mas. I was going to send it a couple weeks ago, but as most of you know I hate going to the post office here because I have no clue what is going on. My host sister went with me today. It still took us over an hour to send a package. It is done now though so that is good. Hopefully sending letters will not be such a traumatic experience.

I got home last night and we did not have any electricity. Apparently my host mother gave someone the money to go pay the electric bill, but they never paid so they cut the power. I don't know who she called or what she did, but at about 11pm the electricity came back on. It was weird, because I'm guessing that the electric company doesn't stay open till 11pm. I asked my host sister how we got power last night and she didn't have the slightest clue either.

Not much else is going on that I can think of off the top of my head. It is Independence day here the 16th and 17th of January so we will have a 4 day weekend coming up. I normally would like this, but I don't really have anything to do so we will see I guess.

I was planning on uploading a lot of pictures today, but when I got here I remember I didn't put any new one's on my flash drive to upload so you who look at them will have to wait.

Well I'm going to go and grab some food and watch another episode of Lost. Oh yeah I borrowed Season 1 of Lost from my friend in Karaganda. It is freaking good. I have been spacing it out and only watching 1 or 2 episodes and a night to make it last longer =).... OK I got to go talk to you later.
