I came into the city last night and was able to finally call Dawn's parents and ask them if it was alright that we get married. It was basically the most terrifying experience of my life. I have been nervous before, but this was on a whole different level. I was at my friend's Nate using his land line, and he found it quite amusing that I was so nervous. (He even taped my phone conversation with my digital camera)
The good news is they said it was alright. Now all that is left to do is properly propose to Dawn and put a ring on her finger, but I have a feeling that will be a lot easier than last night.
Dawn was even nervous for me last night. She was celebrating Christmas with the other volunteers in her region and kept checking in to see how I was doing. This is her and Morgan calling me to see if everything was going alright.
Well it is X-mas Eve here so I need to get going. My host family is making a dinner and we are eating at about 6'oclock. I will be going to the city tomorrow to celebrate with Nathan and Micha since I do not have to work so I will stop by and write again. Hope you all have a great Christmas Eve.
